The Festival 2012 dates are Thursday, August 2nd
through Saturday, August 11th

The Opening Reception on Thursday will be followed by five spectacular nights at Olsen Farm, then four beautiful evenings at the Hornby Community Hall.

So that music lovers from Denman Island and the Comox Valley can come too; Hornby Festival will arrange a free shuttle to the concert and back to the Hornby-Denman Ferry afterwards! Pick-up service will also be available to Hornby Seniors wishing to attend an afternoon concert. Call or email the Hornby Festival Box Office to reserve shuttle space.

Tickets will be available through the Hornby Festival Box Office. Tickets will also be sold at the HI Gas Bar and Abraxas Books on Denman; and on the Coop Porch, May 12th, 18th, and 19th.

There will be pre-show interview with Brian and Todd on CHFR 96.5 Sunday May 20 at 12 noon Classical Hornby with Janey Bennett.

The Hornby Festival Society Board is honoured and excited to present Brian Yoon, a dynamic young Vancouver cellist. Brian won the competition for the Principal Cellist of the Victoria Symphony, but he had a year to go to complete his Master's degree in music from Rice University, so the orchestra HELD HIS PLACE FOR HIM for a year! Brian will join the Victoria Symphony this fall, and our concert will be his first public concert since his graduation. Come see the start of what promises to be a brilliant career!!
